MISSION STATEMENT
The Las Vegas Grambling Alumni Chapter is a non-profit organization, officially established on October 18, 2016. Its purpose is to foster, maintain and support a mutually beneficial relationship between future students, current students, alumni and Grambling State University.
The Board of Directors, compromised of GSU Alumni, governs the chapter by setting policy, providing guidance for the chapter's events and activities as well as representing the interests of alumni to Grambling State University. Service within the chapter is open to any interested alumnus or alumnae, we always welcome new members.

The Bayou Classic: Battle for Louisiana
The Bayou Classic is an annual college football rivalry between two of Louisiana’s most distinguished historically Black universities, Grambling State University and Southern University.
In addition to the game, the iconic Battle of the Bands, featuring Grambling’s World Famed Tiger Marching Band and Southern’s Human Jukebox showcase unmatched musical talent and school spirit.
Each year, the winning team takes home the Bayou Classic Trophy.
