The Las Vegas Grambling Alumni Chapter is delighted to announce the recipients of the 2026 Las Vegas Grambling Alumni Chapter Scholarship Award.
We thank all who participated in the scholarship application process and congratulate this year's selected individuals. We proudly honor Ms. Stanaya Polk and Ms. Alexa Fleming. Despite challenges and obstacles, we remain hopeful that these scholars will continue to excel academically, volunteer, contribute to Grambling State University, their community, and inspire their peers and society.

MISSION STATEMENT
The Las Vegas Grambling Alumni Chapter is a non-profit organization, officially established on October 18, 2016. Its purpose is to foster, maintain and support a mutually beneficial relationship between future students, current students, alumni and Grambling State University.
The Board of Directors, compromised of GSU Alumni, governs the chapter by setting policy, providing guidance for the chapter's events and activities as well as representing the interests of alumni to Grambling State University. Service within the chapter is open to any interested alumnus or alumnae, we always welcome new members.

The Bayou Classic is one of the most historic and celebrated HBCU football rivalries in the country, featuring Grambling State University and Southern University. Established in 1974 and held annually in New Orleans during Thanksgiving weekend, the Bayou Classic is more than a football game, it's a cultural tradition showcasing HBCU pride, fellowship, and community spirit.
The Las Vegas Grambling Alumni Chapter will host its 2026 Bayou Classic Watch Party on Saturday, November 28, 2026, at Chocolate City, 1511 South Commerce Street, Suite #120, Las Vegas, NV 89102. Kickoff is scheduled for 11:00 AM PST / 1:00 PM CST.
